The company was founded in September of 2001 by Steve and Karen Salter. It was founded when Mr. Salter completed his second book, The Epistle to the Galatians, and the organization that had originally agreed to publish the book was not able to follow through due to finances.

To publish his new book, Mr. Salter founded Ahavat Yisrael Publication. It was originally thought that the company would only be used to publish Mr. Salter's books as he wrote them but was latter decided that it could be used to help address the problem of believers finding quality information about the Hebraic roots of their faith.

Ahavat Yisrael, means, "for the love of Israel", and was the name of a congregation that Mr. Salter started years earlier but has since dispersed. When a name was needed for the company, Mr. Salter's wife suggested that they use the name Ahavat Yisrael Publication since they both loved the name so much and it most expressed their feelings about Israel and her people.

The company is new, and with limited funding it will take time for the list of available items to grow. Please check back often.
